The Mausoleum of Augustus is a large tomb built by Augustus in 28BC on Campus Martius in Rome. The Mausoleum is no longer open to tourists as it is ageing and the carelessness towards the monument but the ruins still remain as a huge landmark. Many were buried in Mausoleum including himself.
