Mausoleum of Augustus

Building structure:

Building type- tomb, castle, fortress.

Construction system- cut stone bearing masonry

Climate- mediterranean

Context- urban

Style- ancient Rome

Notes- In the form of a huge cylinder. Originally topped with evergreen trees and a bronze statue of Augustus.

The mausoleum of Augustus is a very aged building today covered in vines and weeds.
